My name is Laisa and I'm a visual artist based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. My studio is situated between Byker and the Ouseburn Valley. It's a vibrant little spot and we are always open and welcoming to clients and casual visitors alike. Personal viewings are available on request. Originally from the wild West coast of Wales, I relocated to Newcastle over a decade ago swapping the rural beauty of my homeland for the equally inspiring urban grit of Byker, taking up residency at Testhouse 5 studios; a proud contributor of the Late Shows and Open Studios of the Ouseburn Valley.

I have held exhibitions both in the UK and abroad (Italy, France and Turkey) and several of my original artworks hang in boutique hotels in West Wales.

I draw inspiration for my works from my mixed heritage, fusing Pagan Celtic roots and profound love of nature with the more vibrant, vivid colour palette of the Mediterranean, specifically Sicily.
